Project Description:

This 480 seat facility is a welcomed addition to the camps ever- expanding ministry. The building has been sited to provide views of lakeside and offers a large expanse of decking for exterior dining and meetings. The foot print and concept of the building is a cross plan with the kitchen and main dining hall on the east west access in two additional dining and meeting spaces on the north/south wings. The design utilities natural and native building materials ie. field stone , board and batten siding, stained concrete floors, slate and quarry tile, naturally finished cherry trim paneling and decking throughout the interior. The voluminous main dining hall has heavy timber trusses and tie rods clerestory dormers, bringing in high natural light. A massive field stone fireplace is the focal point of the west and entry end of dining hall with the glass wall on the east end offering lake views openness and access to the exterior decks.
